Loosen up with a little music!

You wake up remembering how you spent all last night preparing for today’s big meeting. Today you’re going to speak in public. If you’re feeling a little nervous, how about we try something fun to take the edge off?

Here are Pamela Hart’s top five songs to sing out loud and shake off the nerves to. Singing is a great, therapeutic way to calm oneself. What’s your favourite song to sing to? What song gets you dancing around your living room like you’re Tom Cruise in “Risky Business”? Not only will you feel a bit more relaxed, but energized as well. Studies have shown music engages areas of the brain involved with paying attention, making predictions and memory. So belt it out!
